Korean Reunion continued

Right after my last post, Beau and I went to Seoul Tower. Beau had never been up the tower to see the view of the city. Unfortunately it was a very hazy day and the visibility was poor. However, while we were there we caught a martial arts demonstration - and Beau even got to try spearing a bamboo post! After that, we went down to Myeongdong, one of my favourite places for shopping and people watching. It's also home to one of my favourite dim sum restaurants in the entire world. Tummies full, we headed off to the airport for our flight to Manila. We took the train to the airport again, and ended up in the giant saucer-like structure - I have always been curious about what's inside there. Turns out it is an indoor greenhouse. Very pretty!

Here are some pictures highlighting my time in Seoul:

If you look closely, the sword is almost entirely through the hay... and it hasn't moved yet!

I met up with Sean and Marika for some galbi. Yum!
