Singapore Night Safari
We arrived in Singapore at 5pm. Tired, but determined to make the most of it, we caught the subway to our hostel, dropped off our stuff, and we were off to the Night Safari! The safari is open until midnight and it showcases nocturnal animals from around the world. We took a tram around the park and also jumped off to take a closer look at the animals. There was no flash photography allowed so the pictures are a little blurry.
Fishing Cat
African Lion Two of my highlights: 1. The Mangrove Walk - an area full of bats. There were little ones and big ones and they were EVERYWHERE! The trees were so close to the walking path that you could practically reach out and touch the ones that were hanging off the branches.
2. OTTERS!!! I could hear them before actually seeing them. They were chattering away and playing with each other in the water... and then every 10 seconds or so, they would all stop and look up at us. Otters are one of my favourite animals, so this was definitely a special experience for me :)
Chatty otters!
